News from the French charts, October 19th 2017

All you need to know about the latest French charts for the week ending October 19th, 2017. Downloads, airplay, streaming and physical sales.

Mwaka Moon, the duet between French rappers Kalash and Damso, holds firm on top of the combined singles chart in France this week. This second week at number one comes together with a record-breaking milestone : the track was streamed more than 6 million times, the first time ever this happens in France, according to chartsinfrance.net

On the downloads chart, French pair Ofenbach advances to number one with their latest single Katchi (The Doo Wap Song) vs Nick Waterhouse. The song also breaks into the airplay top 10, at 9.

The highest new entry on the downloads chart is held by French singer Louane and Si t’étais là (i.e. If you were here), the latest single from her upcoming album.

On the airplay tally, American band Portugal. The Man takes over the top spot from P!nk.
Feel It Still makes its way to number one and denies What About Us a third week at the top.

On the combined albums chart, French rapper Niska holds the top position for the 4th week running with Commando. The album is published on Capitol.

Three new entries land inside the top 10, this week. These are:
P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma, on Jive Epic, at 2
Kalash’s Mwaka Moon, on Capitol, at 3
A tribute covers album, entitled Sardou Et Nous, on Warner, at 5.

Last but not least, Robert Plant’s new album on WEA, Carry Fire, bows at 33.
